This brightly flavored rub adds Greek flavors to any steak or roast. This rub is great with beef for grilling, roasting or pan-frying.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano leaves
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary leaves
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons anise powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon fenugreek powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Cooking:

  1. Combine all ingredients in small bowl; press evenly onto beef steak(s).

  2. Grill, pan-broil or broil steaks; place roast in oven and cook according to chart. Cook to medium rare (145°F) to medium (160°F) doneness.
